About the film
CHLOE KNIGHT tells the story of a seventeen-year-old Chloe who, after the death of her parents, is forced to move into the home of her estranged grandmother, Sylvia. Upon first glance, the house appears to be idyllic. It’s beautiful, big, and an escape from the outside world that Chloe wishes to retreat from. Yet, quickly Chloe realizes that the house is not as it seems. The wealth Chloe’s family has enjoyed is stained by the tragic death of the original Knight cigarette poster girl. This accident has haunted the family and their home ever since.
When Covid-19 shut down the United States, I moved home to quarantine with my family in Hamilton, Massachusetts. While at home, I spent the fourteen day quarantine alone in a separate part of the house. This time alone reminded me of my childhood fears of my home and inspired me to write the story of CHLOE KNIGHT. Throughout the years there have been rumors that my house was haunted with strange sightings of things left unexplained. I have always been fascinated by those stories and wanted to bring a story of my own to life.
